Christmas Charlie

Santa Charlie

When Charlie woke up from his nap after Thanksgiving, he decided to try on his new Christmas outfit... This is the story of what happened.

Thoughts of sugar-bones danced in his head...

"How's my Christmas outfit look?
Wait... I think I did it wrong..."

"Mom, can you help me put it on right?"

"Thanks!"

"Much better!"

"Now that I'm 'Too-Cute-for-Christmas, what shoud I do?"

"I know!  Maxx would look cute in the Christmas outfit!!
As his Loyal Subject, I shall see to it!"

"Hey Maxx, Whatcha doing?"

"Leave me alone Elf-Dog."

"Don't you want to wear the Santa Hat, Maxx?
See I can help you put it on right here!"

"DO I LOOK LIKE THE CAT IN THE HAT?"

"But, I'm cute...?"
 (That always works on Mom!!)

"You're not that cute..."

"Ugh!  I'm wounded..."
Editor's note: This worked on Mom.  She wouldn't let Charlie in the bed, so he started limping around.  She thought he was wounded and picked him up.  He walked right over to the pillow and went to sleep.  In the morning, he was miraculously "healed."  Maxx wasn't as convinced...

"Whatever... You're faking."

"I'll go get Mom to help me put Maxx in the Christmas spirit!"

"SERIOUSLY!!!"

"I hate you...."

"Bah-Humbug....  The Loyal Subject will pay!"

"I guess it didn't work..."

"Trying to bring in the Christmas spirit is hard work....
It's making me sleepy..."

"Santa Charlie is exhausted."

"I wonder if Maxx will ever get in the Christmas spirit?"

"Maxx, I'm sorry... I just wanted you to enjoy yourself and get in the Christmas spirit!"

"Clawing this bannister is making me feel better... I'll deal with you later."

"Merry Christmas and God bless everyone!"

Hi, I'm Charlie

My name is Charlie and I am a Biewer Yorkie that is 5 months old.
I tip the scales at 3 pounds 10 ounces!

At my forever home, I report to Maxx.  I am his loyal subject and I love him to pieces.

"What you lookin' at?"

Since this is my first Holiday Season ever, I'll be posting things as they happen.

But first, let me tell you about how much fun I've been having with my new Mom.

"I may or may  not have been mistaken for a "toy" dog
while at Walmart and/or Walgreens with Mom."

I have lots of fun toys to play with.  Sometimes I get in the toy box and pretend I am a toy.

"Can you see me?"

Mom teaches me all kinds of fun things like "lay down" and "sit."  Then she takes me fun places, like to Star's House!

"The FUUUUUUN has ARRIIIIIIIIVED!"

Last time I went to Star's house, she had a surprise for me from Aunt Jeanette.  She made me some cool outfits!

"Thank you Aunt Jeanette!"

I posed with my new clothes.

When I put on my Sweatsuit, I'm too fast for a picture!

"I like to Move It, Move It!"

Then, I got to meet this beautiful Maltese Mix girl named Mitzi!  I was in love at first sniff.

"Can I stay here forever?"

I tried to woo her with my smile!

"I only have eyes for you...
unless Maxx is around, then I have to do what he says."

At the end of the day, it was time to leave, but not before Star gave me one more present... a new coat for when it's cold outside!! Woo Hoo!  No more shaking for me.  The first thing I did was check myself out in the mirror.

"I'm pretty cute, huh?"

Then I was ready to go.

"Ready to go now, Mom"

When I got home, I was totally exhausted, but it was a good day.

Sweet Dreams everyone!

Next time, I'll tell you about the Christmas Hat!!
